Black Trumpet gives room to an honest exploration into real, earthy, wholesome food, experimenting into the rich flavours of Portugal.

Black Trumpet utilises gastronomic artistry and alchemised mixology to explore the culinary horizons made available across the land, working together with various local and international leaders to craft a dining experience that is authentic, surprising and nourishing.

Design

Black Trumpet’s warm and flirtatious interior was dreamed up in collaboration with interior designer Juliana Cavalcanti and her studio, working with the existing structure of the space.

With a philosophy of art deco meets French style infused with earthy hues and muted tones, Black Trumpet fosters a grounded, down-to-earth environment echoing the elements cohabiting the menu’s protagonist, the black trumpet mushroom.

A sonic tapestry weaving together the essential beats of jazz, Bossa Nova, and the fire of Latin rhythms, from Cuban mambo to rumba and cha-cha-cha, our musical identity tells an old-school tale that flirts and entices our audience with a modern pulse of psychedelia.
